First, the story of how I came to design “Exploring Memories”.

Next, 3 garment pieces. A Tabard, a Cropped Vest (also worn as a belt), and a Necklace.

Walking in art, custom illustrated and painted kicks.

An embroidered piece by my grandmother and vintage quilt top, Writing New Stories was created.

I embellished with hand embroidery, two recycled mens’ shirts. An intuitive approach to draping, the dress/coat was created.

Ethnic textile jacket, embellished using traditional techniques.

Art To Go, where you can learn new techniques and use to wrap that special gift, beyond pearls of rice.

Exaggerated clothing shapes, historical designs, the 5Ft trousers and jacket are created.

Spinning leftover bits of fabrics and selvedge edges you can create your own one-of-a kind balls of thread/fabric yarn.

I had something to say, I wrote on muslin, I said it and sewed it, Read My Skirt ensemble walks the talk.

It is all in the details. Adding some finishing details and words.

Feeling like I had something to communicate, I began to journal directly on cloth. Sometimes it’s easier to wear your words.

Using a simple bolero or shrug pattern, switches up the look instantly. Both of these denim dresses are sleeveless and a little coverage goes a long way.
