The Enchantment of Draping

Army Green

This dress began with a skirt found at a consignment boutique. I turned it upside down, with hem at the neck.  Ruffled and held in place with snap tape. The skirt portion is draped with vintage army blanket, and scraps of wool. 

Daring Denim

This was my first draped fashion. I began with boxes of recycled denim pieces. The top of the dress is mostly draped using the yokes from denim jeans. The flowing skirt was created using denim pant legs. All seams were hand stitched together.

Antique Pantaloons

Using 3 pairs of antique pantaloons, the summer white dress was draped. Combined with a white cotton slip dress, which peeks out at hem.
